I believe every horse and rider—regardless of breed, background, or discipline—deserves the chance to grow in confidence, harmony, and skill. My role is to meet you where you are, then guide you forward with patience, clarity, and respect.
I teach through Explanation, Demonstration, and Application: first, making the concept clear; then showing it in action; and finally, helping you feel and apply it yourself. This approach blends time-honored Classical principles with modern, accessible teaching—so you not only understand what to do, but why it works.
I’ll help you discover the biomechanics behind each movement, which muscles to engage (and which to release), and how to develop feel and self-awareness in the saddle. I don’t shout, patronize, or belittle—but I also won’t offer empty praise. My goal is to challenge you in a way that feels safe, supportive, and inspiring.
Learning, to me, is a shared journey. I’m confident in what I know yet are always open to new insights—because the best teachers never stop being students themselves.
